Pink Diamond

Of all the colored diamonds, the pink diamond is probably the most popular. It is a highly coveted color that many people want. Is has been featured in diamond displays and on the red carpet!

Like any diamond, pink diamonds have to have a specific set of circumstances to be created. To get the gorgeous pick coloration, a diamond has to be put under tremendous pressure. While most colored diamonds need a specific mineral present, pressure is what causes pink and brown colors.

While they are called “pink diamonds,” their colors can vary widely. They can be light or dark pink, orange, purple, or brown, but still be considered to be “pink.” It all depends on how it was created. There are actually pink sapphires on the market, and other pink stones, so when you are shopping, but sure to get a guarantee that the pink stone you are looking at is a diamond.
